GOURMET FRENCH FRIES

Ingredients:

3 golden potatoes

2 sweet potatoes

1⁄4 c maple syrup

3 T lemon juice

1⁄2 c almond flour

1⁄4 nutritional yeast

1 T paprika

1 T garlic powder

1⁄2 T black pepper

1⁄2 t salt

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line two baking trays with parchment paper. Slice the potatoes into French fries then place into a large mixing bowl along with the maple syrup and lemon juice. Toss together until evenly coated.

2. In a separate bowl stir together the almond flour, nutritional yeast, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Then pour into the large mixing bowl with the potatoes and mix with your hands until evenly coated. Spread evenly on the baking trays and bake for 20 minutes then rotate the trays and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden. Serve with hummus or ketchup.
