GREEN GARLIC COMPOUND BUTTER WITH RADISHES (OR ON TOAST)

Serves 2 as a snack

Takes 10 minutes


Ingredients:

1 green garlic stalk, minced

1 stick butter, softened

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 bunch radishes, quartered or sliced

Kosher or flaky sea salt

Sourdough toast, optional


Directions:

  1. Combine green garlic, butter and salt in a small bowl and stir until smooth. Voila! Compound butter! This can be used in endless ways (and it will make far more than you need for this recipe so be sure to save whatever remains!).

  2. Serve butter with quartered radishes and salt. OR, spread butter on sourdough toast and add sliced radishes and salt.
