Roasted Brussels Sprouts
1 lb. Brussels sprouts
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 oz. panchetta or 4 slices bacon, sliced small
freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut off ends of Brussels sprouts and cut in half, pulling off any yellow outer leaves. Mix them in the bowl to cover with some olive oil. Pour onto a sheet pan and season with salt and pepper. Intersperse the panchetta and/or bacon and garlic cloves with the little mini cabbages :)
Roast for 35-45 minutes until sprouts are crisp and brown on the outside and tender on the inside. Enjoy!
